For this post I used a Land Rover Sport  for my synthetic themed pattern.

For my next pattern I used a photo I took at my summer home in Maine. This was for the theme of minerals.

For this project I decided to use something I enjoy a lot. I am currently the owner of two jeep wranglers and am totally in love with them. So, naturally I decided to use one for this project. Below is my original photo which I took from the internet because I unfortunately did not have any good photos of my jeeps on my laptop. I really enjoyed this project and I thought a jeep was the perfect image to use because it is already very “blocked out”. I hope you enjoy what I did.

This is Kylo Ren or better known as Ben Swolo. This is important to me because I grew up on Star Wars. The famous shirtless scene of Kylo Ren was one of the peak moments in Star Wars The Last Jedi.  I must admit I made mistake picking this picture as my vector tracing. The number of shadows and lighting angles proved to be very difficult to do vector tracing on. However, in the end, I’m pretty pleased with the results.

This is my nephew.  His name is Tuna and he’s a seven-month-old Australian Shepherd puppy.  He’s become an integral part of our family, bringing our family even closer together, despite living in North Carolina.  I used this picture my sister sent me while I was away on IQP for my reference.  Being an Australian Shepherd, Tuna has a long fur.  This proved quite the challenge when it came to deciding which colours to use for which sections, as more than one could be applied.

The subject of the piece was of a personal handbag of mine, one of which was extremely special to me.

Admittedly, there’s a lot I could have done with this one. I recall wanting to focus on the bag patterns, but felt like the shape of the bag itself was interesting to portray.

I decided to make a vector image based on this picture of my brother with a hat on.
