  1. I think the shadow on the animal’s front is rather distracting in this photo. I would of left it out, but that said I really appreciate your attention to the detail on the back and wings. It is outstanding and I am sure a lot of time was put into it. I also really like your background, I think you did an excellent job on it.

  2. I was really blown away by your background at first. Had I not had the reference image to compare it to, I thought that the first picture was your reference from some animation or whatnot. I also think your use of gradients in areas such as the horns, mouth, and shadow are well done.

  3. I think you must’ve used the gradient tool in some areas. I was worried about using it on my project, as I thought it might negated the point of vector shapes, but I think your use here is great. I feel it effectively gives your project a 3D feel despite the lack of shadows in your final image. The use on the computer in the background is particularly impressive, definitely feels 3D.

  4. The detail on the dragons wings and back were shown really well in this image. The simplicity of the background truly makes the subject more important, however the subtleties in the background, especially the macbook keep the subject realistic.
