For my subtractive project I chose to see the effect of removing cities from a picture would do. I removed the city from the original photo to see how it would change the picture and how people would view it. My opinion is that the image becomes more natural because of the loss of man made structures and addition of more nature. In my opinion the blending looks a bit weird on the left side of the photo
I really like this piece. The before and after of if civilization didn’t exist (except for the walk board) makes the onlooker question the destructive nature of humans. You changed a busy city into a nature conservation.
This subtle change took a second for my eye to catch, but when I realized what was missing I was very happy with your edit. Its a job well done in terms of your photoshop skills, and I love the message it portrays.
