Welcome People to my first blog post.
The GeometricShapes assignment is now TIMED.
I analyzed the beat (I had Serato analyze it for me, to be precise) and calculated the beats per millisecond.
Now a random effect will occur on every other beat. The effects are random, every time one gets a different result.
The song is called “Deja Vu” and can be found on “(R)evia” by Tua (tuamusik.de)
The Interactive animation took a lot out of me. I still have not figured out how to make it just appear when clicking without looping it.
So I figured I’d just put soundeffects on it and let it go. Not my best work, honestly.
In the Geometric Shapes, I like how the color changes seem to match the music’s beats and general parts.
They do. Randomized effects timed on the exact beat serato gave me in the bpm analysis.
I love the changes of geometric when music changes.
And I love the little story for the animation.
The geometric shapes could be turned into one of your best works of art if the gain of the music was increased. The visuals are good but they seem to be out of sync with the music.
